CONNECTION NOTES / CONNECTION NOTES

Connections to China and cross-border access

Start by identifying where you need to connect, then compare routes and plans. VPNLF explains coverage, device limits, and billing separately, so you can choose based on how you plan to use the service—not just a location name.

Reliable at peak times

Slowdowns at peak times can originate from your local network, an international link, or the destination server. To choose a reliable VPN, open the pages you actually use at your usual times and check loading, playback, and reconnection—not just the listed location. VPNLF offers international routes, so you can compare alternatives for the same purpose if congestion occurs. Before testing, pause large downloads and make sure your local connection is working. Then switch routes without changing other conditions. Route type is one factor in assessing a connection, not a promise of fixed speeds; your experience on your device is what matters.

No logs

VPNLF keeps no logs. When reviewing a privacy policy, consider network access, account management, and payment processing separately; a connection service does not control the privacy settings of every app. You can create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Keep your credentials safe and use a unique password. Subscription links grant access to your account, so don't post them in public groups, screenshots, or shared documents. When reporting a problem, share only the error details needed and redact sensitive information. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling and account-related information.

Unlimited devices

Connect your work computer, mobile devices, and home computer for their respective uses, with no limit on simultaneous devices. VPNLF supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Find client downloads in the user panel. Device count and plan data are separate: unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data, so choose a plan based on your devices' actual usage. For your first setup, import the configuration and test the connection on your most-used device before configuring other platforms. This makes it easier to tell whether an issue comes from your subscription, platform permissions, or a setting on one device.

Access to AI tools

AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini require more than a working webpage: account region, service policies, and a stable connection can all matter. When accessing them with VPNLF, first check each tool's official list of supported regions, then choose a suitable route and try to keep the same exit location while logging in and using the service. If streaming responses are interrupted, check your device's sleep settings, the client connection, and any messages from the service separately. A working website doesn't mean your IDE plugin or command line is using the same network settings. Our AI access guides cover common scenarios but can't replace third-party account reviews.

Streaming and China video

International streaming services and video services in China involve different access directions. Before choosing a route, identify the service you want to access and its content region. Route labels can help you sort by intended use, but they don't replace a platform's current region checks. With VPNLF, open the video details page first, then check playback and whether seeking works smoothly; seeing the homepage alone isn't enough to confirm access. Video quality also depends on your content subscription, device support, and local network. If you see a region warning, note the platform's exact message and check your account and exit location. Avoid switching routes repeatedly during playback.

7-day refunds

VPNLF offers 7-day refunds. To see whether the service meets your needs, test the things that matter in practice: whether it connects from your usual locations, your work tools stay usable, videos play as expected, and setup works smoothly on your devices. Don't end your evaluation after opening a webpage during a quiet period, or rely on tests unrelated to your everyday needs. Before paying, review the plans and Terms of Service, including the difference between monthly subscriptions and data packages. To request a refund, submit a ticket through the user panel with the relevant order details and your request. Don't share account credentials or payment information publicly.

Compare the details, then test for your use case

When choosing a VPN for China, compare coverage, supported platforms, device policies, and pricing, then check the requirements of the services you use. VPNLF clearly states its practical terms: create an account with a username and password, with no email address required; connect an unlimited number of devices at once; and choose between monthly subscriptions and data packages that never expire. These details don't replace connection testing, but they give you a clear basis for comparison. If you mainly need access for a particular app, test signing in, loading content, and continued use in the same session instead of relying on a list of locations alone.

A nearby location doesn't necessarily mean a better route

Choose a route based on where you're connecting. Accessing content in China from abroad is different from accessing international websites. Routes listed under the same location also need to be checked with the service you want to use. IEPL, transit, and direct describe how a connection is routed—not which apps it supports. A route label doesn't mean every video will play, and a single test doesn't predict performance all day. The routes page explains route types and how to choose; see the user panel for all currently available routes.

If a page won't load, first check that your client is connected, your subscription is active, and your local network can reach other pages. If only one app shows an error, check its official service status, account region, and network settings. When comparing routes, use the same page or video segment and avoid changing your device, network, and app at the same time. This makes your results easier to reproduce and helps you describe the issue in a support ticket.

Route status is shown for reference only and isn't a speed test for your device. Connect and test the route for your intended use.

DATA & BILLING / TARIFF PREVIEW

Monthly Plans and Data Packages

Choose a billing option based on whether you use the service regularly or intermittently. All plans allow unlimited simultaneous devices, support Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT, and include 7-day refunds.

Lite Monthly Plan

¥9.9 / month

  • 60GB / month
  • Unlimited devices
  • 7-day refunds

For lighter use focused on browsing, messaging, and occasional access to tools. Keep an eye on your usage; video, large downloads, and background updates also use data.

Choose This Plan

Standard Monthly Plan

¥18 / month

  • 250GB / month
  • Unlimited devices
  • 7-day refunds

For everyday work and streaming. Check actual usage on your usual devices to see how much data you have left; don't estimate based on time spent online alone.

High-Data Monthly Plan

¥28 / month

  • 500GB / month
  • Unlimited devices
  • 7-day refunds

For frequent video streaming, file transfers, or multiple devices in use at once. A higher data allowance doesn't guarantee faster speeds; test the connection on your usual routes.

Intermittent Use

Data packages: use them until they're gone; they never expire

¥158 / 300GB · ¥358 / 1000GB · ¥658 / 3000GB

If you travel occasionally, access work files now and then, or have very different usage from month to month, consider a data package. Data is used as you go, and the package never expires. Don't confuse it with a monthly subscription that resets each month. Before choosing, consider the upfront cost and how often you actually use the service—not just the total data allowance.

Check the reset policy before comparing plans

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the day you activated the plan. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. When comparing plans, consider the devices and apps you use regularly: long videos, file syncs, app updates, and meeting attachments can all use different amounts of data. Unlimited devices addresses the number of devices, not the data allowance in your plan. If you're unsure how much you use, check your devices' network history, distinguish everyday browsing from large transfers, and compare that with your actual usage in the user panel.

Data packages suit use that doesn't follow a regular monthly pattern; monthly subscriptions are easier to manage for ongoing use. The billing models differ, so there's no single way to rank them by price alone. Before paying, confirm the data allowance, billing period, and terms on the plans page. Order details appear in the user panel. For questions about refunds, usage, or your account, read the Terms of Service first, then contact support through a panel ticket. Don't share account information publicly.

From account setup to connection, all in one flow

Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. In the user panel, find plans, clients, and subscription options, then configure your device. Clients are available after login on all platforms except iOS; the iOS download option depends on your plan status. Client downloads and subscriptions are provided through the panel; subscription links aren't distributed on public pages. For your first setup, follow the Setup Guide to install the client, import your subscription, choose a route, and test the connection. Then check your usual apps to avoid troubleshooting multiple settings at once.

Client Setup and Buying Guides

Installation permissions, background operation, and travel networks each require different steps. Our articles focus on specific platforms and use cases rather than presenting one setting as a fix for every connection issue.

For a short trip, start with the business travel guide in our articles. If you're unsure whether to choose a monthly plan or a data package, compare your actual usage with the reset policy. Guides explain how to set things up, the routes page covers route selection, and the support center handles account, connection, speed, and billing questions. Going to the page that matches your issue makes it easier to keep a clear troubleshooting record than repeatedly changing settings on your device.

If you're seeing a specific error, start with the Support Center. Before submitting a ticket, note the platform, network environment, exact error message, and steps you've tried. Redact subscription links and account credentials.
